USD/CHF Rebounds on Fed Hike Bets, Eyes Yearly High at 0.8300
The USD/CHF currency pair rebounded on Wednesday, rising about 0.5% as markets priced in Federal Reserve rate hikes and supported the US dollar.
This move comes after a brief pullback from its yearly high of 0.8263 on September 16, which pushed the pair below 0.8200. However, it later regained its losses and was trading at 0.8244 at the time of writing.
The technical picture suggests renewed bullish momentum, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) firming up and the price structure marked by higher highs and higher lows.
Analysts believe that a break above the year-to-date peak would put 0.8300 in focus, potentially leading to a run towards 0.8347, a high from May 29, 2025, before a move towards 0.8400 or even 0.8476.
