USD/CHF Recovers on Renewed Dollar Strength and Hawkish Fed Tone
The USD/CHF pair is experiencing a recovery after four consecutive sessions of losses, trading near 0.8220 during Asian hours on Wednesday.
This upswing is being driven by renewed US Dollar strength, which has been fueled by the Federal Reserve's more hawkish policy tone and a recent 25 basis point rate hike that brought the target range to 3.75%-4.00%.
Market participants see nearly an 89.2% probability of another rate increase in December, according to the CME FedWatch Tool.
In contrast, expectations for domestic monetary policy remain subdued ahead of the Swiss National Bank's decision on Thursday, with a consensus centering on an unchanged policy stance at 0%.
