Uzbekistan Exchange Rates See Sudden Shifts
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the latest exchange rates for foreign currencies as of July 27, 2026. The dollar has seen a significant drop, decreasing by 82.76 soums and falling to 12,019.08 soums. This decline is reflected in various other currencies as well, with the Euro dropping by 122.1 soums to 13,689.73 soums.
The Russian ruble has experienced a minor increase of 0.12 soums, reaching 153.87 soums, while the British pound has decreased by 175.58 soums, falling to 16,008.21 soums. The Japanese yen and Swiss franc have also seen decreases, with the yen dropping by 0.65 soums to 73.43 soums and the Swiss franc falling by 132.3 soums to 14,722.05 soums.
The Chinese yuan has decreased by 12.78 soums, falling to 1,774.87 soums. These changes are a result of market fluctuations and may impact trade and investment in Uzbekistan.
