VersaBank Launches U.S. Dollar-Backed Stablecoin with Fiserv

VersaBank (VBNK) has partnered with Fiserv to provide digital asset technology and custody services for Bank of North Dakota's U.S. dollar-backed Roughrider Coin.

The Roughrider Coin is designed for bank-to-bank payments among North Dakota community banks and credit unions, with more than 90 institutions participating.

VersaBank serves as the issuer of the coin, responsible for minting, burning, custody, and reserve asset management.
