Vietnamese Gold Prices Fall Amid Strong US Dollar and High Yields
The gold price in Vietnam dropped to VND 145.5 million per tael on September 23 due to strong US dollar performance and high US Treasury yields.
This decline is not surprising, given the current market conditions where the dollar is performing strongly and US Treasury Yields are around 4.97%.
The domestic gold purchase prices in Vietnam have been falling for some time now, following persistent weakness in international bullion markets.
