Yen Falls as Traders Question BOJ's Rate-Hike Pace
The yen continues to fall against the dollar for the third consecutive day, leaving traders questioning whether the Bank of Japan will increase interest rates quickly enough to keep pace with global central banks.
Last week's rate hike by the BOJ did not yield a positive result for the yen, which retreated from its seven-month high touched earlier in September.
Investors are concerned that additional hikes may be harder to implement due to dissent among policymakers. Naomi Fink, chief global strategist at Amova Asset Management, noted that the central bank's pace is still up for debate.
