Yuan Hits Record as Ruble and Tenge Weaken
The Chinese yuan has reached a new record high against the som currency in Kyrgyzstan. According to data provided by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange offices in Bishkek, the official exchange rate of the yuan is now at 13.0561 soms, marking an increase of 0.15 percent.
The euro has also appreciated, with the official exchange rate reaching 100.4101 soms, a rise of 0.07 percent. In contrast, the Russian ruble and Kazakh tenge have weakened, with the ruble's official exchange rate dropping by 0.55 percent to 1.0331 soms.
The US dollar has maintained its unchanged position, with an official exchange rate of 87.45 soms. The average exchange rates in exchange offices show similar trends, with slight variations.
