Pat McAfee's College GameDay kicking contest has reached new heights in its fourth season. Partnered with Home Depot, McAfee is giving away millions of his own dollars, and this year's contest has already seen a record-breaking prize.

The 'Kicking is Easy' contest took place before the Texas Longhorns' game against Ohio State on September 12, 2026. A student named Connor was given the chance to kick for $1 million, but he missed his first attempt. McAfee added an extra $100,000 from both Matthew McConaughey and Kirk Herbstreit, bringing the total to $1.2 million.

Connor had announced before attempting his second kick that he would donate half of his winnings to charity. In a thrilling moment, he successfully kicked the ball through the uprights, securing the record-breaking prize.
