$131B F-15 Deal Seals Boeing's Future

The US Air Force has awarded Boeing a contract worth up to $131.2 billion for the production, upgrades, and sustainment of its F-15 fighter jet.

The 'F-15 Eagle Crest' contract covers aircraft production, upgrades, and sustainment for both the Pentagon and international customers, with work expected to wrap up by August 2037.

Casey Nicastro, a senior analyst at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, described the F-15 deal as 'one of the bigger contracts recently awarded' by the Defense Department.
