$1.5 Billion Bond Deal Triples in Size for Boeing-Lockheed Rocket Venture
A joint venture between Boeing Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp., United Launch Alliance (ULA), has successfully wrapped up a $1.5 billion private-bond deal that was initially expected to raise $500 million.
The company, which provides rocket launch services for the US military and commercial clients like Amazon.com Inc., offered four portions of debt with maturities ranging from three to 10 years.
This significant increase in funding is a testament to the venture's growing reputation as a reliable provider of launch services. The deal has been tripled in size, indicating a strong demand for ULA's services and a vote of confidence in its financial stability.
