2026 Cybersecurity & AI Tech Summit to Explore Innovation and Risk
Providence Business News will host its 2026 Cybersecurity & AI Tech Summit on October 8 in Warwick, gathering leaders from technology, education, law, insurance, and other industries. The event, running from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick, will focus on the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and business innovation. This year’s theme centers on shifting from risk management to seizing opportunities in emerging technologies.
The summit features two expert-led panels. The first, “Safeguarding the Future of Innovation,” will be moderated by Normand Duquette of Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc. Panelists include Jason Albuquerque of Envision Technology Advisors, Douglas Alexander of Rhode Island College, Rick Norberg of Vertical6 Inc., and Manoj Manoharan of Spectrum Business. The second panel, “AI Beyond the Hype, Creating Business Value Responsibly,” will be led by Chris Parisi of Trailblaze Marketing and the R.I.
