$20B Qatar-JPMorgan Partnership Targets US Middle-Market Investments
The Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and JPMorgan Asset Management have formed a $20 billion strategic partnership to invest in public and private markets. The agreement includes a $15 billion mandate for managing customized global equity portfolios and a $5 billion initiative for providing senior financing to middle-market companies in the U.S.
The collaboration will focus on industries such as industrials, services, healthcare, and technology, according to QIA's CEO Mohammed Saif Al-Sowaidi. The partnership aims to provide access to global equity and private credit platforms, supporting QIA's role in global institutional investing.
