2Sigma Invests Heavily in 3M Amid Q2 Earnings Beat

Two Sigma Securities LLC purchased approximately $1.8 million in shares of 3M Company (NYSE:MMM) during the second quarter, according to a recent disclosure with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The firm acquired 11,105 shares, marking its first position in the conglomerate's stock.

Other institutional investors have also increased their stakes in 3M, including UBS AM, which boosted its holding by 7.4% in the second quarter, and SG Americas Securities LLC, which lifted its holdings by 653.6% in the first quarter.
