$3,199 iPhone Duo: Pricey But Not Alone in Flagship Territory

The $3,199 price tag for Apple's new iPhone Duo has left many scratching their heads. The phone boasts a 2TB storage capacity and advanced features such as a camera system that can capture 48MP photos and 4K 120 fps videos.

However, when compared to Samsung's top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra and Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold, the iPhone Duo's price seems less egregious. The Galaxy S26 Ultra maxes out at 1TB for $1,549, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a 1TB storage capacity for $2,249.

But what about the competition? Samsung's Galaxy Z Trifold was announced in January with a 512GB model priced at $2,900. While it had one more hinge than the iPhone Duo, its price was significantly higher.

In comparison to another Apple product, the MacBook Pro, the iPhone Duo seems overpriced. A normal M5 MacBook Pro with 1TB of storage can be purchased for $1,999, which is less than the iPhone Duo's 2TB storage capacity.
