$3M Seed Funding for Manchester-Based AI Marketing Platform Revnu
Manchester-based Revnu has secured $3 million in seed funding to automate startup marketing efforts. The AI marketing platform, founded by George Jefferson and Art Freebrey, aims to help early-stage companies find customers without hiring large in-house teams.
The platform uses AI agents across LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram to run campaigns, test ads, generate leads, and book meetings. Revnu's technology learns a company's tone and objectives over time and is developing capabilities in generative engine optimisation to boost visibility in responses from AI services such as Google AI and ChatGPT.
Jefferson and Freebrey, both 21, have a track record of success after launching several ventures together while still in education. They were encouraged by Monzo co-founder Jonas Templestein to drop out of university and join Y Combinator in Silicon Valley. However, they returned to Manchester, citing access to emerging engineering talent.
The capital will be used to fund Revnu's growth in the UK and US, as well as expansion into further markets. Jefferson stated, 'The talent coming out of UK universities right now is amazing.'
