$60M Superyacht Mysteriously Moored in Toronto
A luxurious $60 million superyacht has docked in Toronto's waterfront, sparking curiosity among locals and visitors alike.
The yacht, named Bella Vita, was previously owned by billionaire Dwight C. Schar but was sold to an anonymous buyer in April for a reported $60 million. The vessel now moored on the Toronto waterfront is 46 meters long and features sleek designs by Dubois Naval Architects with a military grey paint job.
The superyacht boasts lavish interiors designed by RWD, including an enormous bar and a semi-enclosed sundeck. According to The Superyacht Times, the vessel can accommodate up to 10 guests in its five staterooms and has a top speed of 19 knots thanks to its two Caterpillar engines.
Despite its opulent features, the true identity of the current owner remains unknown, fueling speculation among onlookers. Some have pointed to Nova Scotia tuna tycoon John Risley as the potential owner, but it's been clarified that he owns a larger 75-meter superyacht sharing the same name.
