Curtis Leland 'Curt' Barsness, an 84-year-old resident of Tower, Minnesota, passed away on August 16, 2026. He was born on September 23, 1941. Curt had a distinguished career as a mechanical engineer at Honeywell.

He was also a dedicated member of his community, serving as secretary for the local Lions Club and participating in the annual Fourth of July parade, where he would drive his iconic yellow Mustang convertible.

Curt's love for nature and community was evident in his fondness for life on Lake Vermilion. He cherished the beauty of the Northland and the connections he made with its residents.
