85-Year-Old Garth Christoff Passes Away After 65 Years of Marriage
Garth Wilson Christoff, an 85-year-old resident of Basehor, Kansas, passed away on September 11, 2026, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City. He was born on August 22, 1941, to Theo and Lucile (Wilson) Christoff.
Garth worked in Aerospace Electronics and retired from Honeywell after a successful career. He was married for 65 years to his wife Martina Brull, whom he wed on August 3, 1961.
The couple had three children: Timothy Scott Christoff, Kimberly Smith, and Christi Scoles. Garth also leaves behind five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held for Garth at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Kansas City on September 18, 2026.
