A1 Technologies Locks in Three-Year Deal with Hummgroup for Microsoft Services
A1 Technologies has secured a three-year deal with financial services group hummgroup to provide Microsoft-related services. The agreement consolidates hummgroup's Microsoft 365 licensing, Azure subscriptions, managed IT services, and Azure professional services, which were previously held by multiple suppliers.
The partnership between A1 Technologies and hummgroup began with a successful Azure cost optimisation and migration project for the group's flexicommercial subsidiary. This led to a 10% reduction in Azure costs, as well as savings of approximately $200,000 around its Microsoft SQL licensing.
A1 Technologies' technical director Clint Shiels noted that the partnership has developed into a 'great working relationship', with both teams focused on delivering a secure and optimised Microsoft environment.
