ABX Air Partners with Global Aviation Link on Boeing 767-300 Freight Operation
ABX Air, a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group (ATSG), has entered into a long-term agreement with Global Aviation Link to operate a Boeing 767-300 freighter. Under this deal, ABX Air will provide aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance services for the operation.
The partnership is part of ATSG's Airlines & Services commercial strategy aimed at expanding charter opportunities and providing flexible operating solutions for customers. This approach enables customers to enter new markets, expand their networks, and adapt to changing air cargo capacity requirements.
Greg Mays, President and CEO of ATSG, stated that the agreement demonstrates the company's vision as an aviation solutions provider by matching customers with tailored airline and service capabilities. ABX Air's experience operating Boeing 767s makes it well-positioned to support Global Aviation Link's expansion into new markets.
Global Aviation Link, a Miami-based air freight specialist with 25 years of experience in commercializing Boeing 767-300 freighters across Central and South America, will use the service to expand its reach into new markets, including Caracas, Venezuela; Medellín, Colombia; and Quito, Ecuador.
