ABX Air Teams Up with Global Aviation Link for Central American Expansion
Global Aviation Link has entered into an agreement with ABX Air to expand its Boeing 767-300 freighter operations in Central America. The partnership is a long-term aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance (ACMI) deal that will enable Global Aviation Link to enter new markets in the region.
The Miami-headquartered company, which offers freight forwarding, warehousing, and air transport services, aims to increase its presence in countries such as Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador. Juan Pablo Luchau of Global Aviation Link expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, citing the benefits it will bring to the company's expansion plans.
Global Aviation Link has been operating in Central America for over a quarter century, providing capacity on Boeing 767-300 aircraft. The new partnership with ABX Air is expected to strengthen its position in regional airfreight and cold-chain shipping.
