Accenture Results Spark Rally in IT Consulting Peers
A surge in Accenture's results and above-consensus fiscal 2027 outlook lifted IT consulting and business-services peers, pushing shares of Concentrix (NASDAQ: CNXC), Huron (NASDAQ: HURN), and TaskUs (NASDAQ: TASK) up. The stocks gained 10.8%, 7.3%, and 6.3% respectively.
Accenture's guidance for fiscal 2027 revenue growth of 3%-6% after a Q4 revenue beat eased fears that AI would hollow out traditional consulting and outsourcing demand, sparking a rally in shares.
The company also announced a self-hosted deployment option for IBM Bob aimed at enterprise AI sovereignty and governance. This move targets mainframe modernization under strict compliance and data-sovereignty standards.
