Adelanto Men Arrested for $1,998 Tool Heist at Apple Valley Home Depot

Two Adelanto men were arrested for allegedly stealing nearly $2,000 in tools from an Apple Valley Home Depot on September 4.

The suspects, identified as Jalen Stiles and Tradon Harris, entered the store and took multiple items without paying. The total value of the stolen merchandise was approximately $1,998.

Deputies began investigating after responding to a report of the theft at around 11:45 a.m. on September 4.

The suspects were identified through an investigation and search warrants were obtained for both men's residences. On September 10, deputies served the warrants with assistance from the Apple Valley Detective Bureau and Apple Valley Gang Enforcement Team, arresting Stiles and Harris without incident.

According to authorities, the stolen merchandise had been sold before deputies arrived at the suspects' residence. The investigation also linked Stiles and Harris to multiple other theft cases in Apple Valley, Barstow, and Victorville.
