ADHD Writer Finds Unconventional Solution in Custom Google Sheet Template
Writer Irene Okpanachi has found an unconventional solution to her ADHD paralysis, replacing Android task manager apps with a simple Google Sheet template.
She credits AI tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude for making it easier to build a customized system that caters to her interest-based nervous system rather than relying on priority-based ones.
Okpanachi's approach involves using clinical studies and research on ADHD executive dysfunction to design an unconventional template that focuses on helping her start tasks rather than just sorting chores.
The script, which she generated with the help of Claude, has two functions: SetupTemplate creates the spreadsheet from scratch, while installTriggers schedules emails and resets the tasks nightly.
