AerCap Finalizes 204 Transactions in Q3 2026

AerCap Holdings N.V. (NYSE: AER) reported a busy third quarter of 2026, completing 204 major transactions across leases, purchases, and sales. The company signed 85 lease agreements, covering a mix of widebody and narrowbody aircraft, engines, and helicopters. Among the leased assets were 16 widebody aircraft, 45 narrowbody aircraft, 13 engines, and 11 helicopters.

AerCap also expanded its portfolio by purchasing 34 assets, including 32 aircraft and 2 helicopters. Notable acquisitions included 8 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, 20 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, 2 Boeing 787-9s, and 2 Embraer E195-E2s. Additionally, the company completed 85 sale transactions, divesting 65 aircraft, 13 engines, and 7 helicopters from both its owned and managed portfolios.

The company also secured financing transactions worth approximately $900 million and repurchased 5.3 million shares at an average price of $147.12 per share, totaling around $783 million. AerCap declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share. The company remains a global leader in aviation leasing, serving approximately 300 customers worldwide.
