AerSale leases Boeing 757 freighter to Romanian cargo carrier Mister Air
AerSale Corporation has leased a Boeing 757-200PCF freighter to Mister Air Transport, a Romanian cargo carrier. The aircraft is set to enter service in October 2026, marking the launch of Mister Air's own flight operations. Previously, the carrier relied on chartered capacity from other airlines. The 757-200PCF will operate under Mister Air's Romanian Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and will be based at Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport.
The freighter will serve AerCommerce's established cargo customer base, focusing on medium-haul routes across Central and Eastern Europe. Mister Air plans to expand its fleet to meet growing demand, targeting the 'middle-mile' markets that connect major production and e-commerce hubs.
Craig Wright, AerSale’s Senior Vice President & Head of Asset Management, highlighted the transaction as a reflection of the Boeing 757's capabilities and AerSale's ability to deliver flight-ready aircraft. Ireneusz Dylczyk, CEO of Mister Air, emphasized the aircraft's suitability for their customers' needs and the importance of this milestone in their growth.
The lease extends AerSale's presence in the European cargo market and underscores its ability to provide leased flight equipment to operators worldwide.
