Afi Labs Expands Google Partnership for Location-Based Solutions

Afi Labs has expanded its partnership with Google to resell Google Cloud and Google Maps Platform across North America and Asia. The firm, founded in 2013 out of MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab, specializes in building location-based solutions using Google Maps Platform APIs.

CEO Afian Anwar noted that Google Maps has been instrumental in helping companies move people and packages more efficiently. He emphasized the importance of working with a specialized Google Maps Partner like Afi Labs, which provides direct access to engineers who understand the industry, along with best-in-class support backed by Google's own Maps engineers and specialists.

Afi Labs' work with Proforce Pest Control and OVO won awards for its use of the Google Maps Route Optimization API. The firm has built an automated route planner on this API for OVO, which now plans to roll out the platform across Switzerland and the EU.
