Aguilar vs. Marchant: Nevada's Secretary of State Election Heats Up
Nevada's Secretary of State election is heating up as Democrat Cisco Aguilar and Republican Jim Marchant prepare for a rematch. In 2022, Aguilar defeated Marchant by 20,000 votes, just 2 percentage points.
Marchant denies that Biden won the 2020 election, claiming it was rigged. He wants to eliminate electronic voting machines and end universal mail ballots, instead using paper ballots counted by hand.
Aguilar has been building a national organization and chairs the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State, which plans to spend $40 million to elect Democrats across America.
