AI Initiatives Require Robust Infrastructure and Secure Architectures
As artificial intelligence (AI) adoption continues to grow in various industries, tech leaders are emphasizing the importance of having a solid foundation in place for successful AI initiatives. This includes scalable infrastructure, secure architectures, and operational readiness.
A recent forum titled 'Thriving in the AI Era: FutureProofing Your Data Center for What Comes Next' highlighted the need for businesses to have a holistic approach when implementing AI technology. The event was jointly organized by Trends & Technologies, Inc. and Cisco.
According to Christine Fard, Chief Operations Officer of Trends Group, Inc., their focus is on helping customers adopt emerging technologies with confidence. This includes modernizing data centers, strengthening cloud and cybersecurity environments, and achieving measurable outcomes. 'We understand the risks organizations face when deploying AI without the right foundation in place,' she said.
The two tech leaders identified six interconnected technology foundations necessary for building a secure AI factory: network, compute, storage, security, observability, and software. Each of these pillars must be considered to ensure a scalable and successful AI initiative. 'As organizations begin their AI journey, many discover that moving from a successful pilot to a production-grade AI solution is far more challenging than expected,' said James Jimeno, Technology Management Group Manager at Trends.
Jimeno emphasized the need for a trusted technology partner that understands both the business and technology dimensions of AI transformation. 'A scalable and successful AI factory is achieved by ensuring that your entire organization is prepared across these six pillars,' he said.
