AI-Powered Quality Engine Streamlines Curriculum Assurance for OneSchool Global
OneSchool Global, an education provider operating in over 20 countries, has implemented Microsoft Copilot Studio to streamline its curriculum quality assurance process. The organization's leadership recognized that artificial intelligence (AI) could help reduce administrative burdens on educators and improve efficiency.
The current manual review process requires each educator to check approximately 4,000 assignments worldwide every year, taking around an hour per review. This represents a significant administrative burden of around 3,000 hours annually, with the majority of these hours spent by teachers who make up 80% of the workforce.
To address this issue, OneSchool Global developed an AI-powered quality engine called the Assignment Review Agent in collaboration with Engage Squared and Microsoft. The agent evaluates content against curriculum standards and marking criteria, generates structured feedback, and produces a completed marking rubric in Microsoft Word.
The workflow keeps educators in control, allowing them to select specific pages for review and refine and approve the final output. Human approval remains required at every stage, ensuring that educators can make informed decisions on what content reaches students.
