AI Trade Pullback Hits Some Tech Stocks, But These Five Are Holding Strong
Despite the recent AI trade pullback, some tech stocks have managed to hold their ground. Analysts point out that not every name in enterprise technology has cracked under the pressure, with a handful of stocks showing impressive technical resilience and relative strength.
One such stock is Datadog (NASDAQ: DDOG), which jumped 8% in a week after a wave of price target increases from Wall Street analysts. The cloud monitoring and observability company closed last week at $267.97, close to its 52-week high of $278.76.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) also stands out, boasting an elite MarketRank among technology stocks and ranking 4th out of 593 names in the sector. The stock has pulled back significantly from its earnings-driven 52-week high but has spent close to two months consolidating above its key moving averages.
Other notable performers include Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL), which has been one of 2026's standout large-cap technology performers, with shares up nearly 220% year-to-date. NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) is also trending higher toward its 52-week high, having spent almost two months digesting its earnings gap.
Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO), the largest company in the group by market cap, has enjoyed a stellar year of outperformance and offers a blend of income and relative strength. With all five stocks carrying a Moderate Buy or better analyst consensus, Wall Street sees more room to run even after their strong performance this year.
