Commercial aircraft deliveries moderated in July for both Airbus and Boeing, according to recent reports. Airbus delivered 67 jets during the month, bringing its total 2026 deliveries to 418 aircraft, a lead of 51 over Boeing's 367 deliveries.

Airbus also surged ahead in terms of orders, with 204 gross commitments in July, largely driven by strong demand at the Farnborough Air Show. This brought Airbus's year-to-date order intake to 1,090 gross orders, expanding its sales lead over Boeing to 607 aircraft.

Boeing deliveries slowed down in July, with only 53 commercial jets delivered during the month, compared to 64 in June. The 737 MAX program showed signs of stabilization, delivering 39 aircraft in July, but still below its target production rate.
