Akasa Air Downplays Boeing 737 MAX Software Glitch Impact

Akasa Air is coordinating closely with Boeing over a software issue affecting the 737 MAX. The glitch may prevent pilots from accessing automated flight guidance during a specific landing scenario.

The airline asserts that its operations remain safe and unaffected by the issue, citing adherence to established procedures and regulatory requirements.

Akasa operates 43 737 MAX aircraft and is reportedly in discussions with Boeing for an order of more than 200 additional planes. The software update intended to address the issue is being worked on by Boeing's engineers.
