Akasa Air has expanded its operational fleet by inducting its 42nd aircraft, a Boeing 737 MAX 8-200. The aircraft arrived at Navi Mumbai International Airport on September 1, marking the airline's eleventh induction this year. Akasa Air emphasized that the expansion of its fleet will enable it to connect more destinations and serve more customers.
The airline has placed an order for 226 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and has a pipeline of 186 additional aircraft scheduled for delivery over the next six years. With this move, Akasa Air aims to become one of the top 30 airlines globally by the end of this decade.
