Akasa Air Mulls Record-Breaking Order of Over 200 Boeing Jets

Akasa Air is in talks to order more than 200 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft as the Indian airline assesses its fleet requirements up to the next decade, according to a Bloomberg News report.

The discussions are preliminary and may not lead to a final agreement. Akasa already has 183 Boeing aircraft on order, with the potential new commitment extending its fleet expansion beyond 2032.

Boeing could gain another major India order, adding to its commercial aircraft backlog and strengthening its position in the country's single-aisle aircraft market.
