Alaska Airlines Unveils Lie-Flat Suites on 737 MAX 10 and Boosts Premium Offerings
Alaska Airlines is shaking up its premium product offerings by installing lie-flat suites on its Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft. From 2028, at least 25 of these planes will feature 12 new Aurora Suites, offering a fully lie-flat experience to transcontinental passengers.
The suites are part of Alaska's broader strategy to upgrade its premium cabins across its fleet. The airline is also introducing Premium Reserve, a new premium economy product with around 38 inches of pitch, on select 737-10 MAX aircraft and Boeing 787s.
Alaska's investment in premium travel doesn't stop at the aircraft. The airline is developing a major two-level lounge complex at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, covering approximately 41,000 square feet, while Hawaiian Airlines is preparing a new lounge in Honolulu.
