Alaska-Branded Aircraft Take to Hawaiian Skies
Hawaiian Airlines is introducing Alaska-branded aircraft to its intra-island flights in Hawaii. The move will see daily supplemental flights between Honolulu International Airport and Kahului Airport operated by a Boeing 737-800.
The new aircraft, which are part of the Alaska Air Group's fleet, will provide additional capacity and cargo operations between the two largest airports in the Aloha State.
The upgrade from the aging Hawaiian Boeing 717 to the newer 737-800 will offer improved reliability and frequency for travelers. The 737-800 can handle frequent daily cycles and short flight segments, making it an ideal choice for these busy routes.
