Albyn Housing Society Boosts Board with Tech Expertise

Albyn Housing Society has welcomed two new board members to help shape its future in serving areas including Inverness, Ross, Sutherland and Caithness. Robin Jackson and Maggie Morrison bring decades of experience in business consultancy and technology.

Jackson has spent 25 years specializing in management and economic consultancy across the public and private sectors, while Morrison has worked in the technology industry for over four decades, including senior leadership roles with Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, CGI and NTT Data.

The appointments were approved at Albyn's annual general meeting on September 22, where Clea Warner was confirmed as the new chair, replacing Lesley McInnes who became vice-chair. The AGM also welcomed Maureen Knight as interim chief executive, who stated that this is a 'genuinely exciting time' to welcome Jackson and Morrison.

Knight emphasized their broad experience in governance, business consultancy, technology, and innovation, which will complement the existing board's strengths. She added that Warner and McInnes bring valuable leadership experience from the charity sector and housing associations.
