Alliance Entertainment Shares Soar on Strong Sales and Profits
Alliance Entertainment (AENT) shares surged on Friday after the company reported significant gains in sales and profits.
The distributor of music, movies, games, and toys saw net revenue rise 8% year over year to $1.1 billion in its 2026 fiscal year, which ended on June 30.
CEO Jeff Walker attributed the growth to premium formats, collectible products, and more specialized distribution, areas where Alliance has built expertise over three decades.
Vinyl revenue climbed 13% to $383 million, while CD revenue jumped 25% to $156 million. The company's physical movie revenue rose 22% to $339 million, thanks in part to deals with Paramount and Amazon MGM Studios.
