Alpha Advisors Buys $561,000 in Amazon Stock Amid Growing Hedge Fund Interest
Alpha Advisors LLC VA has added Amazon.com, Inc.'s stock to its portfolio, purchasing 2,354 shares worth approximately $561,000 during the second quarter. This acquisition represents about 0.4% of Alpha Advisors' holdings and makes it the company's 21st largest holding.
The news comes as several other hedge funds have also recently bought Amazon.com stock, including Bard Associates Inc., Longfellow Investment Management Co. LLC, MilWealth Group LLC, Lifetime Wealth Management P.C., and Prudent Man Investment Management Inc.
Amazon's stock has seen various developments in recent weeks, with Generac agreeing to provide backup generators worth up to $8 billion to the e-commerce giant. This deal is expected to help Amazon bring AWS data centers online despite grid-connection delays and power shortages.
