Alphabet Faces Lawsuit Over Allegedly Misleading Gemini 3.5 Pro Statements
Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP is investigating claims against Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) for allegedly making false and/or misleading statements about its Gemini 3.5 Pro model.
The law firm filed a securities class action lawsuit on behalf of investors who purchased Alphabet securities during the Class Period, which began on May 19, 2026, and ended on July 16, 2026.
According to the complaint, Alphabet and its executives violated federal securities laws by making false and/or misleading statements and/or failing to disclose that the Gemini 3.5 Pro was delivering disappointing training results and would be significantly delayed.
The lawsuit further alleges that these undisclosed problems were revealed on July 16, 2026, when Bloomberg reported that Google was allegedly months behind schedule in delivering Gemini 3.5 Pro due to ongoing coding efforts, causing Alphabet's Class A common stock to fall $16.46 per share, or approximately 4.4%, on unusually heavy trading volume.
