Alphabet Raises $25B through Senior Notes Offering
Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, has completed a massive $25 billion senior notes offering. The notes span maturities from 2028 to 2066 and include both floating and fixed rates.
The issue is part of Alphabet's efforts to expand its long-term debt and diversify its liabilities. Individual tranches range in size from $2.5 billion to $4.5 billion, with interest rates varying between 5.45% and 6.50% per annum.
The notes were issued under the Indenture dated February 12, 2016, and full terms are filed as Exhibits 4.1-4.11 in the original SEC filing.
