Alphabet Under Fire for Gemini 3.5 Pro Delays and Misleading Statements
Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP is investigating potential claims against Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) and reminds investors of the November 30, 2026 deadline to seek the role of lead plaintiff in a federal securities class action.
The lawsuit alleges that Alphabet and its executives violated federal securities laws by making false and/or misleading statements and/or failing to disclose that the Gemini 3.5 Pro was delivering disappointing training results.
According to the complaint, Alphabet's Class A common stock price fell $16.46, or 4.4%, to close at $354.46 per share on July 16, 2026, on unusually heavy trading volume after Bloomberg reported that Google is 'months behind schedule' in delivering Gemini 3.5 Pro.
The court-appointed lead plaintiff is the investor with the largest financial interest in the relief sought by the class who is adequate and typical of class members who directs and oversees the litigation on behalf of the putative class.
