Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has revealed its investment portfolio in a recent 13F filing. The filing shows that Alphabet holds a significant stake in SpaceX, with 551,189,500 shares worth $94.18 billion as of June 30.

This represents 95% of Alphabet's investment portfolio and comes after SpaceX went public on June 12, requiring Alphabet to disclose its holdings. Of this position, $80 billion is subject to short-term sale restrictions, while the remainder is restricted until the third quarter of 2027.

Alphabet's stake in SpaceX has seen a staggering return, increasing by over 8,000% since its initial investment of $900 million in 2015. The company also holds a significant stake in Anthropic, with an estimated 14% ownership, despite investing less than $13 billion.
