AlphaPepe Countdown Overshadows Hedera's Faded IBM Cloud Rally
Hedera's recent integration with IBM Cloud failed to sustain its initial momentum, while AlphaPepe continues to build anticipation ahead of its fifth centralized exchange (CEX) partnership reveal.
The Hedera network gained exposure after IDTrust, an identity platform built on Hedera, was added to the IBM Cloud Catalog. This enterprise boost briefly propelled HBAR, Hedera's native token, above $0.13 in late September. However, the gains faded quickly, with HBAR retreating back to around $0.10, demonstrating the common challenge of timing catalyst-driven rallies.
In contrast, AlphaPepe is generating buzz with an upcoming milestone. The project is counting down the final eight days before revealing its fifth CEX partnership. With four exchanges already announced, retail investors are positioning themselves ahead of the reveal, which has sparked speculation about potential listings on major platforms, including Binance.
AlphaPepe's presale has attracted significant interest, with over $2.88 million raised and nearly 12,300 holders. The project has also emphasized security, receiving a 10/10 BlockSAFU audit rating and a Coinsult audit. As of now, AlphaPepe is in Stage 21, with tokens priced at $0.03237, ahead of its anticipated Q1 2027 decentralized exchange (DEX) launch.
The upcoming CEX reveal presents a clear contrast to HBAR's situation. While Hedera's IBM Cloud news has already played out, AlphaPepe buyers still have the opportunity to enter before the next major announcement, potentially benefiting from the pre-reveal positioning.
