Alyeska Ditches Half Million Shares of Home Depot Stock
Alyeska Investment Group L.P., a hedge fund, has made significant changes to its holdings in Home Depot's stock. In the second quarter, it sold 496,379 shares, reducing its position by 66.4%. The firm now owns 251,645 shares of Home Depot's stock, valued at $88,750,000.
This is not an isolated move, as other hedge funds have also made adjustments to their holdings in the company. For example, Provident Trust Co. increased its position by 9.9% during the second quarter, while Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Co. lifted its holdings by 5.7%. Rational Advisors Inc., on the other hand, saw a smaller increase of 13.9%.
Home Depot's quarterly earnings report was released on August 18th, showing a profit of $4.92 per share, beating analyst estimates. The company has also set its FY 2026 guidance at 14.690-15.278 EPS.
