AMAC Aerospace Turkey Completes Maintenance on Trio of Boeing 737 Aircraft
AMAC Aerospace Turkey has completed maintenance on three Boeing 737 aircraft at its Bodrum facility. The first, a VIP BBJ 737-900, underwent a C check with extensive cabin and fuel tank work. This included removal and installation of the cabin, galley, aft cargo compartment, and auxiliary fuel tank.
The second aircraft, a BBJ 737 MAX, was inspected for A1 and A2 checks, with out-of-phase work including engine washing and borescope inspection on one engine. The flight management system (FMS) and enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS) databases were also updated.
The third aircraft, a commercial Boeing 737-800, underwent a C check that revealed cracks in the vapour barrier and upper hinge box of the galley door. This led to additional avionics modification work.
