Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami Airport
An Amazon cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport in Florida after overshooting the runway and striking vehicles, resulting in at least five deaths and five injuries.
The pilots reportedly considered aborting the landing before the crash occurred, according to officials. However, evidence suggests that they did not take this action in time.
Miami airport is not equipped with 'arresting beds', lightweight, crushable material installed at over 120 airports nationwide to help safely stop planes that overshoot the runway.
