High-Speed Chase Ends with Arrests of Two Suspects in Home Depot Shoplifting Incident

A high-speed chase through Copley Township and Richfield on Wednesday afternoon led to the arrest of two suspects who allegedly fled from Home Depot with stolen goods.

The incident began at 12:34 p.m. when a shoplifting call was dispatched to the Home Depot on Medina Road in Copley Township.

A silver pickup truck containing the suspects attempted to leave the scene, but a Copley officer spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver refused to stop, prompting the officer to pursue them.

The pursuit was joined by Richfield Police, who employed Pursuit Termination Techniques to bring the chase to an end on I-77 North in Brecksville.
