Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami Airport, Killing Five

A Boeing 767-300 operated by 21 Air, carrying Amazon cargo, crashed into multiple vehicles at Miami International Airport on September 6, killing five people. According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), one of the pilots had warned that the plane was going 'too fast' as it approached the runway.

The NTSB investigated the incident and shared information recovered from the cockpit voice recorder. The transcript revealed that for nearly two minutes, one of the pilots cautioned about the aircraft's excessive speed. The pilot made additional comments throughout the remainder of the recording.

The plane overran Runway 30 while landing on Sunday afternoon, striking navigational equipment before hitting a white Ford Econoline van carrying seven people. After veering through a perimeter fence, it struck a Toyota Corolla Cross traveling on a nearby roadway and continued into a grassy area before striking another fence line.
